Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Physical Education Teacher to work within active schools in Doncaster. We would like to hear from an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage students to develop resilience through sport and fitness.

The PE Teacher role gives you the chance to support students' physical development while helping them build discipline, confidence, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
  • Encourage participation, fair play, and positive sporting behaviour
  • Support students in improving fitness, coordination, and personal performance
  • Promote safe practice during lessons, activities, and sporting events
  • Assess student progress and provide clear feedback for improvement
  • Contribute to wider wellbeing, enrichment, and extracurricular sports activities

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and safe practical delivery
  • Ability to motivate students across different interests and ability levels
  • Good classroom management, communication, and organisation skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
