Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Computer Studies Teacher to join progressive schools in Doncaster. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging computing lessons, encourage innovation, and help students develop the confidence to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The CS Teacher role offers the opportunity to inspire curiosity, strengthen digital literacy, and prepare students for further education and future careers.
Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Teach programming, computer systems, cybersecurity, and digital technologies
- Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving through practical computing activities
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching to support learners of different abilities
- Promote the safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives where appropriate
Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing within a secondary school is desirable
- Strong understanding of computing concepts and emerging technologies
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
