Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join welcoming schools in Doncaster. We are seeking a proactive and supportive teacher who can work alongside teachers, encourage student participation, and help create a positive learning environment where every learner can thrive.
The Teaching Assistant (TA) has an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities of TA:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and well-organised classroom activities
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour throughout the school day
- Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom
- Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff when required
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learners
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
- Committed to promoting safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
