Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently looking for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary to work in a supportive primary school in Sheffield. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Assess, monitor and support pupils' academic and personal progress.

  • Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or successful completion of Initial Teacher Training.

  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A positive, enthusiastic and reflective approach to teaching.

  • A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential.

  • An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

To work with GSL Education as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.

In addition to that, GSL Education is currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts &Cs apply).
