Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently looking for a General Primary Teacher to work within a supportive primary school in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range, creating an inclusive learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and support pupils' academic progress.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
-
A passion for delivering high-quality primary education.

An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
We also offer, via our partner, access to accredited Education-relevant CPD courses.
In addition to that, GSL Education is currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts &Cs apply).
