Job Title: Primary School Teacher
Location: Leeds LS25
Pay: £150–£200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with vibrant primary schools in Leeds (LS25) to recruit a Primary School Teacher. This role would suit a passionate teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching, encourage curiosity, and create a positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

The Primary School Teacher has the opportunity to shape children's academic progress while supporting their confidence, creativity, and personal development.

Responsibilities of Primary School Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives and inspire a love of learning
  • Create a well-managed classroom where pupils feel safe, respected, and motivated
  • Assess learning regularly and adapt teaching to support individual progress
  • Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, review, and improve learning experiences
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil achievement

Requirements for Primary School Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching within a primary school environment is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices
  • Ability to deliver creative and inclusive lessons for learners of different abilities
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
