Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £130–£160 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teacher to join amazing schools in Middlesbrough. We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage a love of learning, and create a classroom where every pupil feels valued and motivated to succeed.
This position gives the opportunity to shape pupils' academic, social, and personal development during the early stages of their education.
Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:
- Deliver well-structured lessons that meet curriculum objectives and learning outcomes
- Create a welcoming classroom where pupils feel encouraged to ask questions and participate
- Use a range of teaching approaches to support different learning styles and abilities
- Assess pupil understanding and adapt teaching to maximise progress
- Foster positive behaviour and encourage respect, teamwork, and independence
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement
Requirements for Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a primary classroom is desirable
- Confident in planning, assessing, and delivering high-quality lessons
- Ability to motivate pupils through creative and engaging teaching methods
- Strong organisational skills and commitment to high educational standards
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
