Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are partnering with forward-thinking schools in Doncaster to appoint a Computer Studies Teacher. This role would suit an educator who can make computing engaging, practical, and relevant while helping students develop valuable digital and technological skills.

The CS Teacher is going to help in developing computing knowledge, digital literacy, and the confidence to use technology effectively in education and beyond.

Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons across a range of computing topics
  • Teach areas such as programming, cyber security, computer systems, and digital literacy
  • Encourage logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through practical learning activities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet varying learning needs and abilitie
  • Promote responsible, safe, and effective use of technology

Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or a related subject is desirable
  • Strong understanding of computing concepts and digital technologies
  • Ability to deliver interactive and engaging lessons
  • Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
