Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with amazing schools in Doncaster to recruit a Cover Supervisor. We would like to hear from a confident and dependable individual who can supervise lessons, maintain a productive learning environment, and support students in staying focused on their work.
The Cover Supervisor position provides hands-on experience in education while helping ensure learning continues effectively during teacher absence.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes using lesson materials prepared by teaching staff
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete assigned learning activities
- Maintain positive behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Provide clear instructions and support where appropriate during lessons
- Monitor attendance and report concerns to relevant staff members
- Contribute to a calm, organised, and purposeful classroom environment
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Confidence managing groups of students in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and learning environments
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
