Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are inviting applications for a Computer Studies Teacher to join innovative learning environments in Sheffield. We want a tech savvy teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage digital creativity, and help students build confidence in technology and computing.

The Computer Studies Teacher will equip students with practical and theoretical knowledge that supports future education, employment, and digital literacy.

Responsibilities of CS Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons across a range of computing topics
  • Teach areas such as programming, computing systems, data representation, and cyber security
  • Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and digital creativity
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support achievement
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet a variety of learning needs and abilities
  • Promote responsible and safe use of technology within the classroom

Requirements for CS Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or a related subject is desirable
  • Strong understanding of computing concepts and digital technologies
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
