Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with ambitious school communities in Sheffield to recruit a Mathematics Teacher. We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging educator who can make mathematical concepts accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for learners of all abilities.
The Maths Teacher role offers the opportunity to develop students' numerical fluency, analytical thinking, and confidence in applying mathematical skills both inside and outside the classroom.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum objectives
- Support students in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and numerical skills
- Differentiate learning activities to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Encourage participation and build confidence in mathematical understanding
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and progress
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Mathematics is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of mathematical principles
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
