Primary Teacher
Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Salary: £130 – £180 per day
Contract: Term Time Only, Part Time, Full Time
Start Date: September 2026
GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary and specialist schools in the Scarborough area from September.
Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for flexibility or an Early Career Teacher seeking valuable classroom experience, we have opportunities to suit your needs. Roles are available on a day-to-day supply basis, as well as longer-term placements where you will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale from your first day.
About the Role as a Primary Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the primary age range.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and wider professionals to support pupil achievement.
The Ideal Primary Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Has a flexible and positive approach to working within different school environments.
