Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (Secondary), you will support students across a range of subjects, working alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted intervention. You will play a key role in helping students stay focused, confident and engaged throughout their learning journey.
Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities

Work with individual students and small groups to support learning

Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons

Assist with preparing resources and learning materials

Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Support behaviour management strategies where required
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A calm, patient and proactive approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

A genuine interest in supporting education and student development

Flexibility and reliability in a school environment
