Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident in managing a classroom and supporting students’ learning in the absence of a teacher? A range of supportive secondary schools in Doncaster are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join their teams.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining classroom routines and supporting positive behaviour across a variety of subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Ensure students remain focused and complete assigned work

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide support to students where needed during lessons

Maintain a calm and structured learning environment

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Follow school procedures and lesson plans provided
Requirements:

Experience working with young people in an educational setting

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Confident, professional and adaptable approach

Ability to quickly build rapport with students

Reliable and consistent availability for work

A positive attitude towards supporting student learning
