Job Title: Supply Teacher

Salary: Up to £200 per day

A variety of secondary schools across Wakefield are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson. You will step into different classroom environments with confidence, maintaining standards and supporting positive learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a structured and positive learning environment

Support student engagement and participation in lessons

Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines

Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence

Report any concerns to relevant staff where necessary
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience working in secondary school settings
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
Confident, flexible and professional approach

Ability to adapt to different subjects and environments

Reliable availability for supply work
