Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher with strong behaviour management skills?
We are seeking a qualified Food Technology Teacher for an SEMH school in Barnet, starting next week.
Position: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Barnet
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Contract: Full-time / Long-term
Start Date: ASAP (Next Week)
Duration: Until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into the next term
Daily Rate: £160 – £250 per day
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
- Previous experience working within an SEMH, PRU, Alternative Provision, or challenging behaviour setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Confident planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons
- Able to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
- 2–3 professional references covering a minimum of 2–3 years of employment history
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
