Job Title: Behaviour Support (Secondary)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support member of staff, you will work closely with teachers, pastoral teams and SEN staff to support pupils who may struggle with behaviour and engagement. You will help de-escalate situations, provide consistent support in lessons and encourage positive interactions across the school day.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with behaviour and engagement across the classroom

Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies

Help de-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally

Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

Encourage positive behaviour, attendance and participation in learning

Maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Calm, confident and resilient approach

Ability to build positive relationships with students
-
Team-focused and adaptable attitude

Interest in supporting behaviour and pastoral development in schools
