Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs across the classroom and in small group or 1:1 settings. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, helping pupils engage with learning, regulate emotions and develop essential academic and social skills.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN in classroom, small group and 1:1 settings

Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted learning activities

Help implement individual education and behaviour support plans

Encourage positive engagement and independence in learning

Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and focus

Contribute to a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and development
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, calm and supportive approach

Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs

Reliable, proactive and committed attitude

Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
