Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (Secondary), you will support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, working closely with teaching staff to help deliver lessons and provide targeted classroom support. You will assist students in staying focused, understanding tasks and engaging positively with their learning.
Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities

Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning in secondary settings

Help maintain a positive, structured and focused classroom environment

Encourage student engagement and participation across a range of subjects

Assist with preparing learning materials and supporting lesson delivery

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident, proactive and flexible approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a school team

Positive attitude towards supporting secondary-aged learners
-
A genuine interest in education and student development
