Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Sheffield S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately
A range of secondary schools in Sheffield S5 are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching practice while delivering engaging lessons and building valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4

Support student progress and achievement through effective teaching

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS

Recent teaching placement or school-based experience
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills

Positive, professional and proactive approach
-
Commitment to ongoing professional development

Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
