Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are keen to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant within supportive school communities in Doncaster. We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable teacher who can provide personalised support and help students access learning in a way that meets their individual needs.
The Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant will support students' academic, social, and emotional development while helping them achieve their full potential.
SEN TA Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs
- Assist learners in accessing classroom activities and achieving learning objectives
- Encourage confidence, independence, and active participation in lessons
- Work alongside teaching staff to deliver personalised support strategies
- Help students develop communication, social, and organisational skills
- Contribute to an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
SEN TA Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional learning needs is desirable
- Understanding of inclusive education and SEN support approaches
- Patient, caring, and flexible approach to supporting students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
