Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Rotherham
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are partnering with some amazing schools in Rotherham to recruit a Sports Coach. We are seeking an energetic and positive individual who can use sport as a tool to encourage participation, build confidence, and promote personal growth.

The Sports Coach will engage students through physical activity while helping them develop teamwork, resilience, and self-discipline.

Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Deliver structured sports sessions and physical activities for students
  • Encourage participation and help students develop confidence through sport
  • Promote teamwork, leadership, and positive behaviour during activities
  • Support students in achieving personal and group objectives
  • Create inclusive activities that allow students of all abilities to take part
  • Work closely with staff to support student wellbeing and engagement

Sports Coach Requirements:

  • Experience in sports coaching, fitness instruction, or related activities
  • Ability to motivate and engage young people through practical activities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to working with students
  • Commitment to promoting participation, wellbeing, and personal development
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
