Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £190 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking adaptable and confident Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and maintain a productive learning environment. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience across different secondary school settings while making a positive impact on students' education.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Maintain a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment

  • Support student engagement and learning throughout lessons

  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines

  • Report any concerns to relevant staff where necessary

  • Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience working in secondary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident, flexible and professional approach

  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments

  • Reliable and consistent availability
