Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are keen to appoint a Computer Studies Teacher who is eager to work in modern schools in Doncaster. We would like to hear from an engaging and forward-thinking person who can inspire students to develop confidence in computing, digital literacy, and technology-based learning.

The Computer Studies Teacher opening will give the chance to make computing accessible, engaging, and useful for students preparing for the future.

Responsibilities of CS Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons that develop technical understanding and digital literacy
  • Teach key areas such as programming, computing systems, data handling, and online safety
  • Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving through practical learning activities
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback that supports academic development
  • Adapt lesson content to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
  • Promote responsible, safe, and effective use of technology in the classroom

Requirements for CS Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or a related subject is desirable
  • Strong understanding of computing principles and digital technologies
  • Ability to engage students through interactive and practical learning experiences
  • Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
