Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to work within inspiring learning environments in Doncaster. We would like to hear from an enthusiastic educator who can combine practical teaching with creative thinking to help students develop valuable design and problem-solving skills.
The Design and Technology Teacher role places you at the centre of practical learning, supporting students as they design, create, test, and improve their ideas.
DT Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across relevant subject areas
- Support students in developing design, manufacturing, and evaluation skills
- Encourage creative thinking and practical problem-solving through hands-on activities
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress
- Promote safe working practices when using tools, equipment, and materials
- Create an environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and achievement
D&T Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Design and Technology is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of design processes
- Ability to inspire students through practical and creative learning experiences
- Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
