Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across welcoming school communities in Doncaster. We are looking for a caring and proactive individual who can provide valuable classroom support while helping students stay engaged and motivated throughout their learning journey.
The Teaching Assistant (TA) provides a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students and teachers, contributing to both academic progress and personal development.
Responsibilities of the TA:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective classroom activities
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
- Encourage participation and help students remain focused during lessons
- Assist with preparing resources and maintaining an organised learning environment
- Promote confidence, independence, and positive attitudes towards learning
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
Requirements for the TA:
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or support settings is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to learning support
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
