Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a PE Teacher across dynamic schools in Barnsley. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated educator who can encourage participation, develop sporting skills, and promote the importance of physical wellbeing.
The Physical Education Teacher is going to encourage and support students' physical development while fostering teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence through a variety of sporting activities.
Responsibilities of PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across a range of sports and activities
- Encourage active participation and help students develop physical skills and fitness levels
- Promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship during lessons and activities
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support progress
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all physical activities
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and enrichment programmes where appropriate
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Physical Education is desirable
- Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and physical development
- Ability to motivate and engage students of different abilities and interests
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
