SEN Learning Support Assistant 

Brent, North West London

Full-Time | September 2026 – July 2027
£95 - £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

A specialist school and alternative provision in Brent is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This rewarding Learning Support Assistant role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH, ADHD, and behavioural needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help pupils develop emotional regulation skills, establish positive routines, and engage successfully with their education. The hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. 

The school takes a holistic approach to supporting young people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, helping them achieve their full potential and prepare for successful futures.

The Ideal Learning Support Assistant Will Have:

  • Experience supporting SEMH, ADHD, or behavioural needs
  • Confidence managing challenging behaviour
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Mentor, Youth Worker, or Support Worker is desirable
