Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to bring energy and structure to schools in Worksop. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable coach who can use sport and physical activity to engage students, build confidence, and encourage personal development.

This role provides a valuable pathway into education, allowing you to use your coaching skills to support student wellbeing, participation, and achievement.

Responsibilities of the Sports Coach:

  • Deliver structured sports and physical activities that encourage participation and enjoyment
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and respect through coaching and mentoring
  • Support students in developing confidence, self-discipline, and communication skills
  • Encourage positive behaviour and active engagement throughout the school day
  • Help create inclusive activities that allow all students to participate and succeed
  • Work alongside staff to support student development and wellbeing

Requirements for the Sports Coach:

  • Experience in sports coaching, fitness, recreation, or related activities
  • Ability to motivate and engage young people through practical activities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Positive, energetic, and adaptable approach to working with students
  • Commitment to promoting participation, wellbeing, and personal growth
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
