Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher to work across schools in Worksop. We would like to hear from an engaging and knowledgeable educator who can bring geographical concepts to life while encouraging curiosity about the world around us.
The Geography Teacher will help students develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of global and environmental issues.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that meet curriculum objectives
- Encourage students to investigate physical, human, and environmental geography topics
- Support learners in developing research, analytical, and map-reading skills
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes participation and enquiry
Geography Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Geography is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of geographical concepts
- Ability to engage students through creative and interactive lesson delivery
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
