Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with schools to appoint a Behaviour Support professional in Sheffield. We are looking for a calm and resilient person who can provide consistent guidance, encourage positive choices, and help students remain engaged in their learning.
The Behaviour Support role offers a rewarding chance to support students' personal growth while promoting confidence, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- Support students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance
- Encourage positive decision-making and constructive responses to challenges
- Help students develop self-confidence, resilience, and social awareness
- Assist in implementing behaviour strategies and support interventions
- Build professional relationships that encourage trust and engagement
- Work alongside staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment
Behaviour Support Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in mentoring, care, support, or educational settings
- Understanding of behaviour management and student wellbeing approaches
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and composed in challenging situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, and solution-focused mindset
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
