Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join schools in Barnsley. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who can deliver engaging lessons while supporting pupils' academic, social, and personal development.

This position gives you the opportunity to shape students' learning experiences during an important stage of their educational journey, helping them build strong foundations for future success.

Responsibilities of KS 2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Differentiate teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
  • Foster confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote student success

Requirements for KS 2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
  • Ability to inspire and engage learners through creative teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
