Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are searching for a Sports Coach to join schools in Sheffield. We are looking for an energetic and inspiring individual who can use coaching skills to encourage participation, improve engagement, and support students' personal development.
The Sports Coach will provide a rewarding route into student mentoring and development, using sport as a powerful tool to build motivation, discipline, and self-belief.
Responsibilities of Sports Coach:
- Provide a variety of sports and fitness activities that encourage active participation
- Inspire students to work collaboratively and develop teamwork skills
- Support learners in setting goals and recognising personal achievements
- Use sport-based activities to promote confidence, focus, and positive behaviour
- Encourage healthy lifestyles and regular physical activity
- Work alongside school staff to support student wellbeing and engagement
Requirements for Sports Coach:
- Experience in sports coaching, fitness, recreation, or related activities
- Ability to engage and motivate young people through practical activities
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Positive and adaptable approach to working with students
- Passion for promoting participation, wellbeing, and personal growth
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
