Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join wonderful schools in Sheffield. We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic person who can create engaging experiences that support children's development through both structured activities and play-based learning.
The EYP role serves as a valuable pathway into early childhood education, allowing you to support children during some of the most important stages of their growth and development.
Responsibilities of EYP:
- Deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play and exploration
- Support children's social, emotional, and communication development
- Encourage independence and positive interactions during daily activities
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
- Observe and monitor developmental progress, reporting key observations when required
- Work collaboratively with staff to support children's learning and wellbeing
Requirements for EYP:
- Experience working with young children in childcare, education, or support settings is desirable
- Understanding of early years development and learning practices
- Caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
