Aspiring Educational Psychologist

Location: Islington

Have you just graduated from a Top 20 UK University and are looking for Psychology-related experience that is approved by The British Psychological Society?

Would you like to kick-start your career as an Educational Psychologist by joining an amazing school in Islington as an Aspiring Educational Psychologist? Schools across Islington are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Aspiring Educational Psychologists to support pupils with their academic and emotional development while gaining valuable experience within the field of Educational Psychology.

 

What this role can offer you:

Aspiring Educational Psychologist 

  • A Psychology degree from a Top 20 UK University with a 1:1 or 2:1 classification (or predicted grade) is required.
  • £500-£580 per week
  • 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Work alongside Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other professionals. 
  • Gain first-hand experience working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs.
  • Apply the knowledge gained from your degree in a practical setting. 

 

This Islington-based school is looking to expand its friendly and hard-working SEN department with a positive, proactive, and personable addition. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, you will work closely with Psychologists and Specialist Teachers, all with the shared aim of supporting children with Special Educational Needs both emotionally and academically. If you are looking to start a career as an Educational Psychologist, this role provides the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience while developing an insight into the field you wish to pursue. 

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or completing an application for a new check. We also offer, via our partner, access to accredited Education-relevant CPD courses. In addition to that, GSL Education is currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts & Cs apply).
