Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for students with a range of additional needs. You will help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively within the classroom environment.
Responsibilities:

Support students with special educational needs during lessons and school activities

Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted learning support

Assist in implementing personalised learning and support plans

Promote positive behaviour and encourage student participation

Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

Monitor progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, caring and adaptable approach

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of young people
