Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint an excellent Sports Coach to join schools in Sheffield. We are seeking a motivated coach who can bring energy, leadership, and a positive attitude to support students through sport and physical activity.

This role gives you the opportunity to use coaching skills to encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal growth while helping students stay engaged throughout the school day.

Responsibilities of the Sports Coach:

  • Organise and deliver sports activities that encourage participation and enjoyment
  • Use coaching methods to promote confidence, teamwork, and self-discipline
  • Encourage students to develop positive attitudes towards fitness and wellbeing
  • Support students in achieving personal and group goals through structured activities
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive environment during sports sessions
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support student engagement and development

Requirements for the Sports Coach:

  • Experience in sports coaching, fitness instruction, or related activities
  • Ability to motivate and engage young people through active learning
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Positive and adaptable approach to working with students
  • Commitment to promoting participation, respect, and personal development
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
