Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across schools in Doncaster. We are seeking a supportive person who can provide tailored assistance to students with additional learning needs patiently.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference by helping students access learning, develop confidence, and participate fully in classroom activities.
Responsibilities of SEN TA:
- Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Help students stay focused, engaged, and involved in learning activities
- Adapt support methods to meet individual learning and communication needs
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive classroom participation
- Work with staff to follow individual learning plans and support strategies
- Promote an inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported
Requirements for SEN TA:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and inclusive support approaches
- Patient, calm, and caring approach to student support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
