Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Rotherham
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are interested to appoint a Behaviour Support professional to join schools in Rotherham. We are seeking a resilient and proactive individual who can provide consistent guidance to students requiring additional behavioural support.

The Behaviour Support role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them improve engagement, self-regulation, and participation in daily school life.

Responsibilities:

·       Encourage positive behaviour through clear expectations and consistent support

·       Help students develop self-management skills and constructive coping strategies

·       Support learners who may be experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges

·       Promote positive interactions between students, staff, and peers

·       Assist in implementing behaviour support plans and intervention strategies

·       Contribute to a safe, structured, and productive learning environment

Behaviour Support Requirements:

·       Experience working with children or young people in support, mentoring, care, or educational settings

·       Understanding of behaviour management approaches and student support strategies

·       Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

·       Strong communication and relationship-building skills

·       Resilient, patient, and solution-focused approach

·       Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
