Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham
Pay: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with schools to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant in Rotherham. We are looking for a caring and committed teacher who can provide tailored support and encourage students to develop confidence in their learning.
The SEN TA will make a meaningful impact by helping students overcome barriers to education and participate fully in school life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with additional learning needs
- Adapt support strategies to meet individual student requirements
- Encourage participation in classroom activities and learning tasks
- Assist students with communication, organisation, and social development
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement learning plans
- Promote an inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and inclusive practices
- Patient, supportive, and compassionate approach to working with students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider support team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
