Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Rotherham
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to work across schools in Rotherham. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can use sport and physical activity to encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour.
The Sports Coach role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students' personal development while promoting confidence, resilience, and active lifestyles.
Responsibilities of the Sports Coach:
- Deliver enjoyable sports sessions that encourage participation and skill development
- Use coaching techniques to promote teamwork, respect, and self-confidence
- Support students in setting goals and celebrating achievements
- Encourage positive attitudes towards fitness, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles
- Assist in creating structured activities that keep students engaged and motivated
- Build positive relationships with students through mentoring and encouragement
Requirements for the Sports Coach:
- Experience in sports coaching, fitness, or related activities
- Ability to motivate and engage young people through physical activity
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Positive, energetic, and adaptable approach to working with students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
