Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Stockton
Pay: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking for a Support Worker to join a supportive school in Stockton. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable person who can provide practical and emotional support while encouraging positive development and engagement.
The Support Worker role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with individuals who require additional guidance, helping them overcome challenges and achieve personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day assistance tailored to individual needs and circumstances
- Encourage independence and support individuals in developing practical life skills
- Build positive relationships that promote trust, confidence, and wellbeing
- Assist with routines, activities, and tasks that support personal development
- Monitor progress and communicate relevant observations to staff members
- Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all individuals
Requirements for Support Worker (SW):
- Experience working in support, care, community, or similar settings
- Caring and empathetic approach when working with individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in different situations
- Reliable and adaptable approach to supporting varying needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
