Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support students across classroom-based learning environments in Doncaster. We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic individual who can assist students with their learning while contributing to a positive classroom environment.
The Teaching Assistant role offers an excellent opportunity to support student development, gain valuable classroom experience, and work closely with teaching staff.
Responsibilities of TA:
- Assist students with classroom activities and learning tasks throughout the day
- Provide additional support to individuals and small groups when required
- Help maintain an organised, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage student participation, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Support staff with lesson preparation and classroom resources
- Monitor student engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach to supporting learning
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to contribute to classroom activities
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
