Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you confident managing a classroom and supporting young people to stay focused on their learning? A welcoming secondary school in Worksop is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team and provide consistent classroom supervision across a range of subjects.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring students complete set work and remain engaged throughout the lesson. You will help maintain a calm, structured classroom environment while supporting learning continuity across the school day.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff

Ensure students stay on task with pre-set learning materials

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support a positive and focused learning environment

Provide clear instructions to students when required

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Maintain consistency and structure within lessons
Requirements:

Experience working with young people is desirable
-
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
-
Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt to different classroom situations

Reliable and flexible availability

A genuine interest in supporting education
