Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students complete the work set and remain on task. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while promoting positive behaviour and a calm classroom environment.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff across KS3 and KS4

Ensure students remain focused on pre-set work

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support student engagement and maintain a positive learning environment

Provide clear instructions and guidance to students where needed

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Contribute to a structured and consistent school day
Requirements:

Experience working with young people is desirable

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt to different classroom situations

Reliable and consistent availability

A genuine interest in supporting education
