Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term

Secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop curiosity, critical thinking and a strong understanding of the world around them.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver inspiring lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, adapting learning to meet the needs of different students. You will foster a positive classroom culture, encourage scientific thinking and support students in developing both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations

Encourage curiosity, investigation and independent thinking

Support students in developing practical laboratory skills

Maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Secure subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying abilities
-
Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
