Occupational Therapist – SEN School 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment, helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to thrive.

You will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory processing difficulties, delivering interventions that promote independence, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support students with a variety of occupational needs
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Promote independence, engagement, and wellbeing across the school setting
  • Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary approach

Requirements

  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally within SEN
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential
