Occupational Therapist – SEN School
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment, helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to thrive.
You will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory processing difficulties, delivering interventions that promote independence, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support students with a variety of occupational needs
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
- Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
- Promote independence, engagement, and wellbeing across the school setting
- Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary approach
Requirements
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally within SEN
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential
