Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons covering both physical and human geography, ensuring students develop strong subject understanding and exam readiness. You will be responsible for maintaining classroom standards, supporting student progress and adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned learning activities

  • Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively

  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour management

  • Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles

  • Support students in developing geographical and exam skills

  • Contribute to a positive and structured learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Confident, organised and professional approach

  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities

  • Reliable and committed attitude to teaching
