Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time, Long Term/Day-to-day

GSL Education are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cover Supervisor (CS) to work in schools across Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a future in teaching or education, or individuals with strong classroom management skills who enjoy working with young people.

Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students stay on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to students during lessons.
  • Ensure a safe, productive, and focused learning environment.
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

  • Experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
